Staff are rude. Never at any library have I ever been accused of stealing, but here at this one I was. I put the book I was reading at the time on the cart in front of the front desk lady and she still had the audacity to come out and ask me if I had taken it. Somebody across the road was screaming because he had a broke ankle, so I put it down on the cart and went to investigate the cause bc I thought it was my husband, who was outside playing his guitar. They also told us we had to have a piece of mail proving we lived here to get a library card, when my husband's ID has our current home address on it, and mine does too. Never had that done to me at any library, they just look at your id and give you a card. Not these folks, they wanna give you the runaround. Inconsiderate. I will never go here again. Instead, I will go to the Rolla Public Library. For one they actually look at your ID, and two they pay enough attention instead of looking at their stupid phone to know that somebody is not stealing. Thirdly, they label and place all of their books on the correct shelving. Here, the book that I was accused of stealing was not even in the correct place. It was a historical parody, and I found it in the HISTORY section, when it should've been in the HISTORICAL FICTION section. Worst library I have ever been to, and the only one truly deserving of a...
