Stopped to view all the lovely holiday lights on display with my grandaughter Guin and her dad Stephen. We were surprised to find an ice skating rink set up in the Farmers Market pavilion! Sterling Heights residents skate for free with proof of address and non-residents pay $5.00. Use your own skates or rent a pair for $3.00. For safetys sake a helmet is recommended for children.

Every Thursday Sterling Heights Farmers Market is open. Lots of fruit and vegetables. There's a whole lot going on in there. Many things to buy other than food. I bought some hand-made towels for the kids. They donate all their proceeds to charity. They had many styles to choose from. Give them a call and get a gift for the kids while helping people in need. Lots of fun.

During the cold months the farmers market becomes an ice skating rink. Free for Sterling Heights residents and only $5 bucks for others. You can rent skates as well. There is a food truck on the weekends.
