Ok so it's a bridge. This one I guarantee is not for sale !! What do bridges do? They move traffic over a hazard or obstacle. This one for sure does that. Unless you're George Jettson , or James Bond and have some incredible flying car or one that morphs into a boat ... Well the road ends in Marathon. I have a wonderful friend named Mike, he works at the visitor center in Key Largo. Not a day goes by when someone asks him " how long is the 7 mile bridge?" Interesting thing, when whoever was trying to think of a name for the thing , they lacked flair and whimsical wit. So they named it the seven mile bridge... Why? Ummm because it's seven miles long. Just for kicks, stop in on your way south at the South bound Key Largo visitors center and ask Mike how long the bridge is boy that never gets old !! Now I don't think that this is one of the seven wonders of the world, but it's damn close. I always have a new awareness of the incredible beauty and tranquility that these islands bring to my soul as I drive over this bridge. And as I sail under it... I know I'm in a completely different body of water. It truly is a must do. It's in a bunch of movies. The veiw is amazing. While on the bridge one looks down on Pigeon Key, that's worth a tour ( one must stop in Marathon to make those arrangements and it's cheap !! ) and fishing vessels, sailboats, islands, and beautiful waters are all spied from atop this bridge. Please keep in mind that all the commerce, emergency vehicles, workers traveling to thier jobs or homes, and you tourists are using the bridge at the same time. There is but one road heading north and south connecting these beautiful islands, so be curtious and thoughtful...
