Basically a big playground with a few kid rides...low admission prices (2 and up must pay).
I first experienced Pixie Woods as a child and I have very fond memories of the place. I went there to take my children there for the first time and see how things have changed since. Though there weren't many changes, the few were good.
It was nice to walk through and watch my children play where I once did. There was a nostalgic feeling for me, of course, but I also loved watching my children play.
The kids enjoyed it so much, they asked if we could return some day. With its many themed play areas, including a water play area, and rides like the train, a boat ride, and a carousel, it made for a small wonder and adventure.
We ate at the park and enjoyed their lemon slushie. The food prices were fair, but the food was better than that, it was really good. My husband really loved the polish chili cheese dog.
When I asked my children what their favorite part of it all was, they each had their own play area that they enjoyed most. Amazingly enough, my teenager couldn't pick just one. For my other son, it was the train. My toddler was a different story, however. From beginning to end, she seemed to enjoy exploring and playing in every section of the park. I think her favorite was the carousel, though. I didn't think my children would enjoy Pixie Woods that much. Well, I knew my baby girl would, but not the boys (they are a preteen and a teen).
The only bad thing came at the end of our trip, when the park was closing. My daughter did not want to leave, we had to walk her out of there crying, and that was not a good feeling for me.
Overall, Pixie Woods really is a place to enjoy family and create memories. One of Stockton's best hidden secrets. Those whom live here but have never been should consider finding this wonderland.

Read moreI grew up going to Pixie Woods and they've always been an affordable themepark, yes they have older structures and such but that's part of it's charm. I have nothing but great memories from this place and hope to go back down to California to visit it. It's not one those over glorified insanely huge theme parks but it's more memorable than those others are. Last time I went was when I was 12. Have always missed this place and the kids activities they always had (back then prices were $1.25-$2.00 for admission I think) and they're still affordable. Never did swim in the pool before they changed it into the Dragon but the Dragon was loads of fun. I saw many changes to it and it's probably gone through a few more but hopefully this little gem will stay open for many more generations. I loved the kid's fishing competitions and things they always...
Read moreVery nice and surprisingly big fairy park to take little kids and keep them entertained for a few hours. It has a nice size water area for kids to get wet so bring their swim suit and sun block. My little one had a blast. They have an eating area with just a few tables. You can purchase something to eat like hot dogs corn dogs and beverages. The wrists bands are $9 for rides, $5 kids over 2 years $6 adult to get in. If you like the park why not buy a membership for $70 well worth it. They have 3 rides a train, boat, and carousel rides. Plenty of kids playing area in every turn around the corner. One area has a fire engine to climb. The park has about 3 bridges to walk over water very nice. So many adventures for a kid to explore the possibility of imagination is endless. I give it two...
