Largest park in Stow and has many things to do for the family. Two shelters that can be reserved. Access to the Summit Metro Parks hike and bike trail. Basketball courts. A rental hall with kitchen. Bow Wow Beach the the dogs. And my favorite, a fantastic playground. In fact, I would rate the park three stars. But the playground is excellent. My son loves to play there. My reason for the four stars are the picnic tables. They are not well maintained. Most don't have cooking platforms. And there are not many of them. They could use quite a few more picnic tables! Read moreI like it here but beware of having a dog with only 1 doggie toy. I'm pretty small and was trampled over by 4 huge dogs for my dog's doggie toy. She didn't know what to do to get it back either. She just ran back and forth as the dogs fought over the toy for at least 25 minutes. It was humourous for a little while but I knew better then to try as get it back because the animals were vicious over the toy. One of the owners kindly gave it back after while. It didn't look the same. The toy went from a vibrant pink color to a muddy black blob. I washed it back at the house and now it's close t what it looked like when...
Read moreSilver springs Park near Hudson is truly a fantastic park. There is so much to offer there. There is a huge play area for the children, and plenty of picnic and gazebos throughout the park. There are several hiking trails nearby. Basketball, tennis, soccer and baseball can be played here. There is also a fenced-in area around the lake especially for dogs. There is a dog training course a walking track around the lake for dogs a beach area as well as an area for them to get into the lake. To the south side of the park there is also a campground.
