Rock Castle Gorge Overlook — Attraction in Stuart

This is a gorgeous and expansive overlook. Beautiful mountaintop views. One word of caution, there's a trail called Rock Castle Gorge that you find an entry to at this overlook and some trail guides (AllTrails) claim it's "easy" but I suggest it's moderate. You need careful footing on many parts of the trail as it's very narrow in places and there are vertical rock outcroppings that you must step over and through. This is a great hike. I would rate it as intermediate with some strenuous climbs. Plenty of rocks and roots to watch out for. The views are not as open for the majority of the hike. Plenty of open views at the beginning and end though. The interior forest and elevation views are incredible! Amazing trail!! I took my 70lb poodle and he did amazingly well! We were surprised to notice there were no other people on the trail. It was covered in lots of leaves so I did fall a couple times because it is a bit slippery with the leaves and the trail is very thin in some places.
