Trout fishing at Lanier tail water below the Buford dam. The water are nice and very cold but enjoyable since it is very hot this October. I spent many weekends trout fishing here. There are plenty of trout here you just have to find them. Just make sure to use ultralight rod and 2-6 pound line. People here uses spinner, flies, corn, Worms. Bank fishing is hard since there are only a few places you can access, but if you don't mind getting your feet wet. You can catch a lot of fish. Me and my son get lucky sometime and catches our limits. Good luck I hope this...

Great recreational area with plenty of open space for big groups. Dedicated grilling and picnic areas. A large open field. Lots of spots on the shore right by the river for fishing or just enjoying the scenery and cooling off.

$8/day parking at the entrance credit or debit only. Clean restrooms on site. Definitely...

There are plenty of trout here you just have to find them. Just make sure to use ultralight rod and 2-6 pound line. People here uses spinner, flies, corn, Worms. Bank fishing is hard since there are only a few places you can access, but if you don't mind getting your feet wet. You can catch a lot of fish.
