The way they talk to women online is disingenuous and borderline mental. I came across an ad on fb and left a comment saying, this service looks elegant but not for me, personally. They asked why and I told them why. I also said a multitude of times that it looks like an awesome service for other women, just personally not me. Yes, itâs an amazing choice perhaps for someone going through chemo or someone that has alopecia, like I stated; it looks like an elegant service for others but not for me. Beauty Mark Studio attempted to shame me for my opinion after they asked for it, in which I was respectful and honest. I blocked them and wonât be giving them a chance for any procedure ever again. I will not be referring people to them nor sharing their business in a positive light. Are you guys just a bunch of high school mean girls? Because I can be that, too. I just refuse to stoop to your level. I want everyone to know how you tried shaming me and be done with it. You can talk to whomever you want whatever way you like but you will not be talking to me like that and disrespecting me to fit some narrative in your head about me. You are not going to shame nor bully me into saying âomg yes I want this procedure! I need this!â Like no. Stop shaming women for not wanting work done and bullying them after expressing why they donât want it done. I was nothing but open and respectful to you. I also think if youâre a woman and want cosmetic procedures like tattooing eyebrows and eyeliner done, itâs your choice and a wonderful thing to have done, I simply said it wasnât for me. I never once said anything negative nor derogatory about women that get it done, I gave an example of why I wouldnât personally get it done and itâs because my grandmother died of illnesses out of her control and she scared me with her permanent makeup plus the diseases. Why is that controversial? How is that not supporting other women? If I get dementia, I donât want to scare my grandbabies the way my grandma scared me. I also donât want to touch my face before a certain age and I expressed that. My grandma lived with us (growing up) and had Parkinsonâs and dementia. She attacked me with a kitchen knife as a child, which led to us having to put her in a home. I shared my life story with you and you threw it in my face, further claiming that I donât support women because I dare have an opinion and be affected by childhood trauma.. how about instead of trying to lecture a woman (me) about âsupporting of other women,â why donât you try respecting and listening to said woman when you ask them their opinion? Why not see that women can have different opinions yet still show support for one another? WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID? Whoever runs your social media pages is immature and childish. So, hereâs my...
Read moreI went to Jeannine about two weeks ago for powder ombre brows. She was very welcoming and we were talking like we had known each other for years. Lol. I wanted something long -lasting , due to have sparse brows. She was very thorough with explaining the procedure , showing all the different shades, to creating a beautiful arch for my eyebrows before she even began my eyebrows. She numbed me up really good , even though I did take a while deciding if the shape she created looked right to me lol. I will be honest. It was NOT painful , just a BIT of discomfort and that was it. Don't overthink when it comes to if it will hurt or not. Its not bad at all. She does a couple of passes to achieve the look . When I tell you all Jeannine will keep going until your brows look right to HER, she will. That's the type of professional she is. âşď¸ It's just best to trust the process not only in her studio, but during healing as well. Everyone is different, though. Once they're done, there is some tenderness. The second day and third day for me, they looked really dark, but that's part of the process. By the fourth day , I freaked out because they started cracking, itching and scabs formed. I texted Jeannine about it and she told me steps to take and be gentle with my brows. Clean them with the soap and cloths she gives you and apply the ointment only when you're supposed to. It's called the wiggly uneven brow phase. Whatever you do, please do not pick at the scabs . It will mess up the pigmentation if you do. Let this phase pass and let them fall off and let the healing take place. I am more content with my brows now since then. I'm on day 12 and you just have to give it time for your true brows to shine through. Jeannine knows what she is doing. If you are looking for a brow artist, look no further. Thanks Jeannine and looking forward to my touch up in a...
Read moreI recently visited Beauty marks Studio for brow shading and microblading. From the very first phone call to the last minute in the chair, Jeannine was professional and knowledgeable making me feel very comfortable about a permanent change to my brows. She took her time in drawing things out with precise measurements to ensure evenness and symmetry. I felt comfortable making changes and never felt rushed in this most important step in the process. She explained the color matching, helping me chose the correct shade to match my skin type and current hair color. I shared my concerns with age and those pesky gray hairs in my brows and the way they may pop after shading. She explained how to easily color my grays after the healing process. The tattoo process was a bit uncomfortable at first but she took the time to find the numbing cream that worked best for me. After applying a different cream, I barely felt a thing. Jennine made me feel cared for with attention to my individual needs, she calmed my fears, and prepared me for healing with all the soaps, creams, and instructions for healthy healing and a beautiful result! All of my friends are impressed and I have passed out several business cards so pick up a few extra while you are there because you earn credit toward your next appointment with each referral you send her way. Highly recommend and couldn't be happier. She took my tired thin brows and brought them back to life. Thank you Jeannine! ...
