I don't know why this isn't updated to say CLOSED. We had a very rude cope try to give us a citation for parking there for Mayne 5 minutes to try and use the restroom, he didn't want to hear anything, if it wasn't for the very nice cop his partner we would have got a citation (I wish i got their names so I can praise the nice one and let yall know who the jackass was) Yes their were cones out but it had a space open so we just thought they didn't want big vehicles entering, and their were other people parked here and no clear sign saying closed or no parking (he said apparently there was a no parking sign but way on the other side and it's dark) we haven't been here in over a year we are used to this place being a community and open to the public, he was just not caring he says to his partner "what do you want to do, I'll write all of these people citations right now" an older man though the same as us that their was a space open so we were aloud in. And now I see online it doesn't even say closed either. Thankful to the other...

We ended up parking at Stahlman Park as they had free parking, shower place and restroom. This is a public area so dont expect to have the cleanest restroom and showers. Honestly the shower was just a pipe with a rope tied to a handle to release water from a connecter shower head on the pipes.
Overall the place was nice, well maintained as folks would pass by with a free garbage bag for your trash. We had our own trash in our bags but it was nice to see the involvement around this area. People were really nice out here.
I'd recommend it to...

The one and only main room is large and square, roughly 60 x 60 with a large dance floor. On the east side, there are bathrooms and a kitchen with 2 serving windows for food and drinks. On the beach side is a gazebo through which a ramp runs all the way to the beach. There is also a wheelchair ramp on the left side that leads up to the gazebo so this facility is definitely accessible. I would recommend it for virtually any event...
