From the minute we checked in at the front office to the minute we left, we had a fantastic experience. The lady at the front desk was friendly and warm. Driving up you're met with a small, very well maintained RV park. The parking spaces face the beach and are right next to the hotel, making it easy to load and unload. There is a great community fire pit with large Adirondack chairs all around, but best of all there are 4 large wooden swing chairs. What a pleasure to hang out there and listen to the waves. There is a well-lit, roped-off path for guests for "The Breeze" that leads from the outdoor shower to the beach. Our room was on the top floor. Everything was meticulously maintained and clean. The room is better than a "hotel" room, it's more like a small apartment. The bedroom is separate from the living area and kitchenette. This was great because my husband could stay up late watching tv without disturbing me while I slept. In the living room, there is a large picture window and a glass framed door that let in all the sunshine and make it possible to chill on the very comfy couch and watch the waves and take in the view of the beach without even having to leave the room. Although if you step outside to the well-appointed front deck, they've put 2 tall beach style chairs with a connecting side table where you can set your paloma's/cocktails and enjoy the breeze and passing pelicans. They've also installed a wood partition between the other rooms for added privacy. All of the furniture inside is modern and comfy. The decor is rustic/beachy. With a Barnwood accent wall and a small electric fireplace that made the cool night warm and comfy. The kitchenette has a nice size mini-fridge where you can stock up on snacks for the weekend. There is a nice size counter, a microwave, and a bistro table and chairs tucked in the corner in case you want to have more of a dining experience. The bed was comfy with extra pillows and a quilt. The furniture is rustic/modern and very beachy. The bathroom is a good size and the sink area has a nice backsplash with a stone countertop. All in all, it was a great time and we can't wait to come back to the charming little gem. In fact, we've already booked...

This RV park is awesome and we will stay again in the future. We loved staying at this place and did not want our weekend vacation to end. We have camped at numerous RV parks from Texas to the east coast, and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Last year we stayed at San Luis park and were not pleased with that park. The Breeze Hotel & RV Park blows them out of the water.

This is a small family owned and operated park since September 2019. The reviews prior to the new ownership were pretty bad and unsettling. The current staff has truly done an amazing job and they continue improving daily. The sites are full hook up for 30/50 amp (with the nicest RV pedestals I've seen), spacious level concrete pads, and very well maintained landscaping. Each site has a bench/table combo which is genius. The table top folds down to make a bench that is light and mobile.

The WiFi signal is strong and easy to log onto. There is direct access to the beach by foot or golf cart/Polaris from the park. There is an outdoor shower at the edge of the park to rinse off from the beach before you go to your RV. Vehicle beach access is right around the corner less than a block and as stated on their website, you'll need a beach access pass that can be purchased at the convenience store. The park is quiet and there is very little traffic which we enjoyed.

The insects were not a major issue (mosquitoes/flies) except for the fire ants. This is not a complaint or star take away; we live in Texas and there are bugs and critters everywhere you go. I kill fire ant mounds at my house on a routine basis and they keep coming. We did not mention this to management because we never located an ant mound. They were just there in odd spots throughout the grass and we carry insecticide with us, so I treated the area. Just be cautious while bare foot in the grass.

For some reason I did not take any photos of this trip so I cannot contribute that way. However, you will not be disappointed with this place or the views. All in all we had a great stay and were very pleased with The Breeze Hotel and RV Park. It's affordable, fun and a family friendly place to vacation. Kuddos and we'll see...

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago for my 1 year anniversary and I absolutely loved it! My husband and I can't wait to go back. Since it was the middle of November the hotel was pretty empty, which made the stay even more pleasant but the RV park was full. The owner was very nice and communicated with me throughout the whole stay, from a few days before our arrival to the moment we checked out. The view from the balcony outside the room was amazing! You can see the beach from every room at the hotel and the beach is just a very short walk away. The room was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There is a small kitchenette with a stove top, full size fridge and freezer and sink, as well as a bar to eat at. They also provide dinnerware, pots, silverware, dish towels, and dish soap. The room is sort of split where you can relax and watch TV or use the kitchen and then there is a separate room where the bed, closet and bathroom is located. The bed was possibly the softest, most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept on with clean sheets. The bathroom was clean and well lit with towels, tissue and hand soap. Out of all the amazing things this hotel has to offer the only negative thing I have to say is the water had a fishy smell, but that is to be expected, it's a hotel on the beach. I enjoyed every minute of my stay at this hotel, it was peaceful, beautiful and affordable. It was better than I ever expected! My husband can't stop talking about how much he wants to go back. I have and will recommended this hotel to all my friends and family and will be back the first...

Cozy little RV park right on the beach. All spots full hookup. Extremely clean and tidy, everything looks brand new. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Sites are narrow, just enough concrete for the rig with a very small patio. Small combination picnic bar/bench. Sites were very angled, so you never really saw your neighbor out the window. No amenities such as pool, showers, or restrooms. Didn't see much additional parking, except perhaps up by the office where there were a couple of spots. Community fire pit. Short walk through the dunes to the beach. Next door to Stahlman Park. If you're coming for the Surfside Marathon, this is where you want to be. Literally a 1-minute walk to the event. Park wifi was solid. Verizon service was solid. Also, you are close enough to the Houston area TV tower farm to get all the Houston over-the-air TV stations. The water from the faucet had a slight taste, so if you're picky about that you might want to have bottled water. Not much in the area, but Lake Jackson (15 minutes) has everything you need. Several restaurants along the highway, but unfortunately we had to cut our trip short so no review of those. This park is right next to the road, which does create a not-unpleasant drone at night sometimes. Since it's a beach, it's often windy, so don't plan on using your awning.

This place is the perfect getaway for couples or family. If your looking for a lazy river, swim up bar, party all night campground this is not the place. If you looking to relax, enjoy the beach, spend time with your loved ones then this is by far the best place. My family and I stayed on the RV site. Concrete pads, 30/50amp, full hookup. A bench at each site that converts to a small table. Right size amount of grass for pets or kids to play. Short walk to the beach. Outside shower to rinse off on the way back. A sitting area with a fire ring. Not a big campground so it is perfect to get away from the large group campsites. Stung by a jellyfish, called the office and they met my wife at the entrance of the beach to give jellyfish spray. Couldn’t be more pleased with this place. They do have rooms with a view for rent also. This is our new place to go when we visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

It's very basic no bells or whistles, you BETTER bring mosquito spray or you are going to war without ammo, for every part of you not protected you will pay. These crack-induced vampire blood suckers tore us up, and we had on mosquito spray. Don't take a shower in the motel unless you need a quick rinse from the salt water, the water pipes are really old, and you can smell nothing but rust and metal in the water in all the sinks and shower. But aside from those things, the motel was awesome for my beach junkie family and I, and the one needing an inexpensive place to get away too. Overall, the motel is clean, great window units, kitchenette was a most, perfect view of the ocean from your balcony. Our last day we spent on our balcony listening to the very active storm enticed waters, it was so relaxing. The owners are super kind, and oh my goodness I'd sell anything for the comfortable beds!
