Hudak Farm Stand & Greenhouse — Attraction in Swanton

Beautiful farm , yes, friendly staff, yes..... hearty plants? not so much. Last year in 2018 bought "straight 8" cucumber plants, and lost 1/3 and replaced and replanted.... soil not too wet. This year, bought 12, and now weeks later, NONE of them made it, survived, all dead.....wasted money for sure. The interesting side note is the "Bonnie" brand from Lowe's I replaced all dead plants with and continue to thrive and no issues.....so not sure really what more...

This was an interesting stop while out road tripping the US. We drove past and decided to turn around to check out the place out. It is definitely unique for sure. We enjoy seeing the place even though we wasn't interested in making a purchase. Did notice that the veggies weren't exactly the best looking and the prices were extravagant. They wanted $2.79 per pound for zucchini, and $1.25...
