Champlain Country Club — Restaurant in Swanton

We went to the club house for dinner. It was the worst dining experience that we’ve had since we began dining out once a month with our small group of women several years ago. We waited 45 minutes for our meals (one wasn’t ordered at all and by the time that she received it, the rest of us were done ). I ordered steak tacos (one of the specials) and it was overcooked and flavorless. We didn't golf we just came in for drinks and lunch. I ordered our food when I received it It was cold I only got nachos but the works on it. At least I thought .I did not get the beans and I did not get the corn in my nachos .my husband had chicken and fries and the fries tasted like they were sitting there for a while . Champlain Country Club provides a great atmosphere for golfers of all levels. The superintendent is always looking for ways to improve the course. The course is always in great shape. The club pro is a great ambassador for the course. The fact that there is a waiting list to join here is a true testament why this is my happy place...
