Music Box Dinner Playhouse — Attraction in Swoyersville

Been going to the shows for the last 4 years & I NEVER TIRE OF IT! The cast are FANTASTIC, they really appreciate us, the patrons! The sets are beautiful, as well as the costumes, and the atmosphere is like one big family! You feel welcome as soon as you walk thru the door and when you leave, you made some new friends and you look forward to the next show! WHO SAYS THERE'S NOTHING TO DO AROUND HERE?? I've met people from all over the US at the Music Box, some are people who moved away, some are in town for other events and some are people who saw the homepage online! We were lucky to get tickets to see Shrek The Musical Jr by the Music Box Junior Players here at lunchtime. And were so very impressed with the level of acting by all the performers, that we immediately saw them as the characters they played and were blown away by the vocals that we would come back to watch it again if we were not out of town the next day finishing our vacation here.

We have been to see the amazing Beetlejuice show in New York and Harry Potter, but still out of all of them, we first think of how easily we laughed and enjoyed ourselves watching Shrek The Musical Jr....

The Music Box used to be a fun place to go. The current board of directors has revoked the membership of all players who posted in their players group expressing that they were unhappy with how the music box was managing certain things. During a time of chaos community is so important and this active board has gone out of their way to make the community feel alienated.
