Onions 52, Inc. — Attraction in Syracuse

Well, I have appointment at 0700 got here 0530 waited for shipping office to open and filled out the pick up sheet. A guy in the warehouse comes up and asked who made my appointment. I said my company did. He said load won’t be ready until 1-2 pm this afternoon and walked away. Not very nice to me. Don’t know why the attitude. I’m just the driver picking up and that’s the appointment time I was given 0700. I can tell this is going to be a frustrating load already. Update: kept me here until almost 16:00, when they close. Loaded me almost 45,000 lbs, I’m way over weight on my drives and over 80,000 lbs. had to go to FJ that’s 15 miles away because I tried to go to the closer one but GPS took me where you can’t make a left turn and had to do a U turn and can’t do that. Been stuck in heavy traffic trying to make it back. I did not know they closed so early. They knew I was going to go scale and did not say anything. Plus this load added an extra stop. This has been a frustrating load right out of the gate. Wish I was loaded when my appointment time was. Could have fixed all this and been down the road. Probably going to have to repower this now for a team to make these drops now instead of...

Overnight parking. Professional staff. Clean area & Restroom. Soda machine. Room to turn around in a big truck. Commercial GPS was gonna have me exit on 335, but with the direction of a Wild West Driver, David Roberts, I exited on 332, and arrived without having to turn as much. There's construction on Antelope Drive, but nothing out of the ordinary. Opens at 0700 hrs. If you're here to pick up, you'll need to fill out a form and make sure your tandems are moved to the rear. I was here for a delivery, so I just waited and was helped by staff. If you're parking overnight, it's good to park with your rear facing the dock doors. They do not have a scale here. Hello Fellow Drivers, had a awesome first time experience at Onion 52 Inc. Arrived for an 0800 01/29/22 Saturday appointment, went in to shipping/receiving, filled out check in sheet with appropriate information, backed in door 1 and paperwork in hand by 0845. Great job guys, couldn't ask for a better day.
