Titlow Beach Park is an absolute haven for nature enthusiasts, and I can't express enough how this gem deserves a 5-star rating. From the moment you set foot in this park, you are greeted with an abundance of natural beauty and wildlife that's truly awe-inspiring.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Titlow Beach Park is the incredible variety of bird species that call it home. Whether you're seeking a leisurely stroll, an invigorating hike, or a serene place to unwind, Titlow Beach Park accommodates all preferences. Read moreThis is a magical place that I'd rather keep secret, to be honest, but since you all love my reviews so much here we go! There are so many things to do here!! Wooded trails, giant grassy fields for frisbee or BBQs, a pretty sizable sprayground (so basically a free water-park for kids big and small during summer), trains going by about every fifteen minutes, two good restaurants and a bar. On the water side of the tracks you can walk the beach at low tide, or take the upper path along the tracks and through the woods to get an amazing view of the Narrows Bridge. Rockhounds can find carnelians and petrified wood on the beach if you look hard enough, and sometimes fossils in the hard clay. The sunsets here are also the best in Tacoma, in my opinion. And, although I don't condone this because it's technically illegal, you can usually have a small fire on the beach if you are cautious and respectful about it, and always put it out afterwards. This is my second favorite place in Tacoma, after Pt. Defiance of...

Also… be aware of goose poop in the grass. Public bathrooms were more clean than I thought they’d be and I even saw a staff person taking out garbage and checking on the overall aesthetic of the park and that was...
