What a magnificent place to explore and enjoy the water in Puget Sound. Of all the years I've lived in and around Tacoma, I had never visited Titlow Beach and park. It was refreshing to see young families enjoying the waterpark and waterfront. The wooded trails kept us cool while we were exploring the area. The extra was that we could see old remnants of the past. There was also a wedding or gathering of some sort at the lodge. The area is so beautifully maintained! Just make sure if you bring your dog, you take into consideration the harshness of pavement and the barnacles they would inevitably have to walk on at the beach.
