This is a great place for meditation and grounding. I also spoke to the wonderful young lady the property weddings. This is how this young lady was able to save the property from being developed into apartment complexes after the wonderful professor in literature that owned the property passed on where her ashes were put where are the tree is this live oak is over 300 years old it is the oldest known tree in Tallahassee Linchgate is actually a place where the living and the realm of the people that pass over can intersect which I find this to be a fascinating place especially if able to go there from 3 to 4:00 a.m. when the Astros playing between worlds in different use closest point with grounding and meditation. I believe at the proper timing with many other factors of course you can advance your timeline and elevate your frequency. This leads me to discussing with the facilitator a potential ceremony where people can lay down with headphones on and connect to the tree to hear the trees frequency and connect with nature furthermore connecting with people that have possibly passed on to the other side...
Read moreBeautiful spot to waste a little time enjoying a little bit of nature hiding like a golden nugget right smack dab in the middle of Tallahassee.
The Lichgate Oak is spectacular and the surrounding gardens decent. The cottage is wonderful as well.
We got both lucky and unlucky today as they were having a private function which put us off for an hour, but the lucky part of that was, due to the function, Phoenix was there and the cottage was open so we could take a little brief peek inside. Nice people that volunteer to take care of the place. Awesome.
Found a #Tallahassee Rocks artist painted rock hiding there today and that was another positive part of the experience. Took the beautiful little rock with us on the remainder of our journey today and photographed it as if it was a family member along with us. It had quite the adventure today and will each time we go on a new adventure as well. Thanks to the artist LB. #Tallahassee...
Read moreI’m a tree guy, an arborist by profession. I was introduced to the Litchgate Oak when a company I worked for volunteered a few climbers to go prune some hazardous dead limbs from it. I now go by and take a look at it every few months or so and I’m still as awed as I was the very first time I saw it. There are bigger live oaks for sure but the size and setting along with the wide graceful growth habit of this one is truly remarkable. The gardens around it are typically well maintained by volunteers who are very friendly and do what they do out of love for the tree and the property it sits on. It’s tucked away and can be difficult to find and if you drive past it every day you’d still be unaware what’s back there just off of high road but if you hear about it you should definitely take the time to...
