Locos Tacos & Bar — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Tonight must have been a random bad night, (at least I hope so), because our experience was anything but 5, 4, or even 3 star rated. On a positive note, the pineapple drink and apple soda were tasty and mild, the atmosphere family friendly, the concept attractive, but the tacos were small in size and very skimpy in its content, the overall taste so-so -- its hard to appreciate and savor the flavor when the actual food is lacking. I had FROZEN TOMATOES IN MY TACOS---I found out when a bit into it! My husband's order was incorrect. Maybe we should have ordered something else....Anyhow, we are here travelling from Virginia and decided to stop by--- so this was our first Loco's Taco and Tallahassee experience. I was so excited when I saw and entered the restaurant but SO disappointed when I left. I've enjoyed authentic Mexican tacos before; but not here as I hoped. Service was fair to OK... Sorry Tallahassee, this city is absolutely beautiful and people are great, but Loco's Taco was anything but great for my husband and I. You never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. We were LOCO to visit, our money and time wasted. Im still hungry...so Im eating a small bag of CornNuts to satisfy my hunger.... LOCO's TACO...

It Sucks that there's No Combos & EVERYTHING is Seperate! I Ordered 2 Soft Chicken Tacos & the Stringy Meat was like Eating Cardbord & Tuff, Not Seasoned & Salsa was Extra@ 75cents which I didn't order bc I had Taco bells at home lol, so saved mo ey there 😅 I also Ordered Mexican rice which was Overcooked n Hard😫😢The pintos were good tho n had lightly sprinkled cheese😄So a Win there! But that Was it! Had They're Mango🥭 Flavored Drink n was Sweet n good but they layered it with too much ice, so not much drink n it was cold already from machine. They did let me Sample it before had bc there a Note Above Machine that Clearly States No Refills OR Refunds! So That was Nice of them lol Although the girl did give the Side Eye when I asked her.....Anyways It Cost me $16.48w tax!! Yea n was My first time. Not Sure if I'll go bk...After Reading Other Reviews I See Similarities to Mine @ their Food & Pricing! BTW The Cardboard Chicken was a Special Treat for my 3 female dogs! So bc of them, It was Saved from the Trash🤪🤷🏾‍♀️Right Now I just Know Their Mango Drink & Pentos are Good! If there's a Next...

Third time coming here. The first two were excellent. This time was drastically different. It seems the original couple has hired numerous employees which have hindered the experience. First I was informed the Coke was flat, so I was advised to order other sodas. Then I ordered other sodas and they too were flat. OK, no big deal, I just won't get soda. Water it is. Except that they tell me I can't get a refund because "We don't do refunds." OK, still flexible. Okay well since I paid for sodas and I can't get sodas, can I get some of the bottle sodas since I've already purchased beverages. Nope, those cost more.

So I say, "Well sir, what do you want me to do?" and he tells me to calm down, before he decides to give me sodas anyways. OK, fine.

Except they only give part of one order, and then completely get wrong the other order. And have no apologies, no concern, no going the extra mile to even attempt to save the dining experience.

My food was good, but my partner had to bottom part of the rice bowl which was hard and crusty. Inconsistent food performance. Making me consider...
