Tamarac Sports Complex — Attraction in Tamarac

I found this amazing park while on my delivery route in Tamarac and looking for a bathroom. The first thing I noticed was the beautiful fields; the greenery is emaculate and very inviting. I found the bathroom by the baseball fields and immediately drawn to artwork surrounding. Upon entering one thing that I loved and have not seen at any other park was a sign that said something along the lines of Discrimination Free Zone, racism will not be tolerated. I wish more parks would post signs like this! The bathroom was open, and to my surprise, air conditioned!! Many parks, as soon as you walk in, feel like a sauna but not at Tamarac Sports Complex! The bathroom was clean and comfortable. Now I have found a bathroom, and I decide to enjoy my lunch by the Tennis Courts under a shady tree. Watching people walk and work out on the lengthy sidewalks and benches available. Back to Work... fast forward... I'm now a regular visitor of this park, and maintenance workers are always around working hard to maintain this park! Great job, you're doing guys! Most recently, I found the bathroom to be closed. So I drove around the park looking for another bathroom. Where else would I find one open? The playground...yes! They have to have one open where kids play. Cute little playground for little ones, fenced in for safety. Oh, but wait, there's more! Basketball Courts, too!! I knew I loved this park, from the first time I found a bathroom, but then and yes, it keeps getting better... I saw a sign saying Morgan Heritage is going to be performing live! Whaaat?? So yes, of course I decided to take the day off from work so I can go! I'm excited to see Morgan Heritage tonight and am excited to have more time to explore this park. I forgot to mention that the last Friday of the month they also have food trucks!? If I hadn't been looking for a bathroom while working, I wouldn't have found this park. I'm very grateful for the city of Tamarac as a whole because, for the last few months working in the neighborhood, I found it is a beautiful city. Love the people and Love Tamarac...

The Tamarac Sports Complex is such a fantastic place for the community! The fields and courts are always well maintained, making it a great spot for all kinds of sports and activities. Whether it’s soccer, basketball, baseball, or just enjoying the open space, there’s something for everyone.

What I really love is how family-friendly the atmosphere is. The park is clean, safe, and welcoming, with plenty of space for kids to play and for families to relax. The walking paths and playgrounds are also a huge plus, making it enjoyable even if you’re not there for organized sports.

It’s clear the city takes pride in keeping this complex in great shape. The facilities are top-notch, the environment is positive, and it truly brings people together. A wonderful place to get active, spend time outdoors, and enjoy...

A nice complex for a lot of activities. It has tennis and basketball courts, a covered playground, football and soccer fields, lots of picnic space. There are also a concession stand and restrooms. In addition, there are two full-size and one Little League baseball field. The concession building has restrooms and a meeting room. The skate park area is a big attraction for the park. To round it out, you can find a picnic shelter, fishing pier, natural areas and paths.

We have been there for several concerts, which are always fun, because there is plenty of room for the food trucks to park. The city 4th of July concert and fireworks call the complex their home.

My only quibble is that the parking could be better and there aren't many handicap designated spaces. Overall, it's a terrific place to...
