Kendall Kafe — Restaurant in Tamarac

I had two very bad experiences here. The waitress was rude to me . I ordered my eggs Over easy. When I cut into the egg, it was totally raw uncooked white around the yolk. When I brought it to her attention,instead of just taking it back, the waitress gave me a lecture. She said you ordered it that way if you wanted it cooked more then don’t order it over easy you get what You order here. She took it back and I’ll tell you. I was worried about eating it because She was so nasty. I will never go back.

A time before when I went there,My friend also had an encounter with the same waitress. We had a full table and we Added a chair and that waitress came over And said that’s not allowed. And my friend said but you have a highchair at the next table at the end and she said well you’re not a baby are you?. Either move to another table or leave. I was shocked because Nothing was said nasty. It was an innocent question. My friend is a very quiet nice person and got attacked by the same waitress. So we all left. But then I forgot about that and went back. And that’s when the egg incident happened so I will never go back again plus the food used to be good and I don’t know maybe they lost their original chef because it isn’t very good...

My husband and I heard about this place in our local "Tamogram" newsletter and decided to try it out yesterday. It's easy enough to find and has plenty of parking. We arrived and ordered two Breakfast Burgers and fries to go. The restaurant is small, but the people are very friendly! My husband did notice that it took a while to get our food after we ordered and another customer came in and said they called and couldn't get anyone on the phone to place an order to go. We finally got our food and went home to eat. The burgers are delicious! The fries were ok, not spectacular, but that burger! First of all, let me tell you something when you order something medium well and it comes out medium rare. And you asked to cook it more and they give you a problem and then you get it back and it’s over salted horrible taste no good and then the owner tells you there’s nothing wrong with it. How can you survive in a place and there’s hair in my food they didn’t do nothing for that. So disgusting and I’m so disappointed. Please do yourself a favor and save your money and don’t eat here.
