Staying Afloat Party Boat — Attraction in Tampa

We had booked a boat ride for a Bachelorette Weekend and we were very excited! The weather was beautiful, and us gals had a lovely time. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience due to our Captain and his lack of attention to details and interest over all. GREG WILSON, took us out when we visited in Tampa, FL and his attitude was an issue from the start. Seats were wet and when we asked to get them dry he was annoyed but quickly wiped down and said just wait for to water to come in. When we wanted to anchor the boat and swim he wasn't helpful at all and said if you get hurt, it's on you. Didn't help with life jackets and when we were concerned about the waves he started talking about people that had passed on boats which wasn't comforting. Found this place through a Facebook search for a bachelorette party and we are so happy we did! First of all it was a great price compared to other party boat rentals in the area and the price was all inclusive for fuel and captain, which many other options had those as added fees. They supply a cooler and ice and make a stop to buy more alcohol if needed. There was plenty of room for 8 of us, so even a full group of 12 would be comfortable. The island we stopped at had a cute little bar with anything you could want and we got to swim around for a while too. Our captain was Greg and he was awesome! Update - Floated for my 3rd time and it was a blast yet again! We had captain Sam this time around and he was unreal - he was great at keeping the vibes super easy and fun. He also was like McGyver and had everything we needed! Not to mention he helped teach us a few new dance moves!

This was my 2nd time out on a Staying Afloat charter - the first time we had Captain Eric and this most recent time had Captain Greg and both were amazing! The boats are nice and big - plenty of space for when you're on board. Having the two floaties is a huge bonus for when you get to where you're going.
