The Barnstormers Theatre — Attraction in Tamworth

The Barnstormers and Tamworth share a special place in my heart. My parents took my sister and I here every summer to get away from DC. More importantly, to watch my grandad, Dan Rubinate, perform at the Barnstormers. As a young kid, plays are a tough thing. They don't hold the allure of running around in the creek like a crazy person, they aren't video games (new back then), and they require you to sit still for a long time and be silent. Grandad however, made that damn easy. I will never forget him as Toad of Toad Hall, or any of the other wonderful performances by the very talented actors at the Barnstormers. Went last Friday, the show was a yarn! People literally ran as fast as they could the minute the play was done! Most obnoxious person fake laughing in the back row/ clearly friend of the actors trying to get people to laugh! The play Was a total bore! The actors seemed talented enough. Why not tap into the actors talent and put on a musical which is always enjoyable ! Money and...

Attended the Something Rotten performance. Fantastic! Energetic, funny and outstanding talent. Have never seen a better performance even on broadway. Do yourself a favor and go to the Barnstormers’ shows. An added feature is hearing loop capabilities for the hearing impaired with tele-coil hearing aids. Kudos to...
