Lake Sabbatia — Attraction in Taunton

I loved that We saw a good amount of wildlife including a bald eagle! Unfortunately there were a lot of jet skis and speedboats around which made kayaking a little tricky at times. Also, you may want to rethink coming here during covid times since no one is wearing a mask at the ramp and no one is distancing. It was very crowded. I also feel like there was no boating etiquette observed here. Seemed like it was everyone for themselves as far as put in and take...

If you're visiting its a horrible place, think the water is toxic and shoreline is radioactive. If you're a local its a great place to live but the locals won't ever admit it.

I'm fairly sure I saw alligators especially over by snake river. Very very dangerous...

Lake Sabbatia is a lake surrounded by lakeside houses and is mostly used for fishing, canoing, kayaking, jet skis ect... The parking lot is of decent size (good for trucks with trailers) and has a boat ramp. The view is beautiful at Sabbatia especially...
