Usually like bringing my son here, but today was a ridiculous experience. There was a man standing next to the ticket dispensing machine and told us we couldn’t use a float for my son. Said it was against state laws. My 2yr old is very small and doesn’t weigh enough for a majority of life vests on the market. In the past we have brought the same float (never do I leave him in it alone or let go of the float.) I went on the mass.gov website only to find it is not against state laws to use a float at a pond. Read moreThey are ALWAYS RUSHING people out at 5 -530 reminding everyone the closing time..saying 530..actually 6pm..bathroom are usually locked way before 5pm and telling people to leave at 5@! We used to love coming here summer afternoons after work till 6pm..now that hour when We can't get there till 330 sucks! Pardon my language..we and my daughter really loved this place e sadly being ruined by outrageous loud music allowed as well..but luck...
Read moreWatson Pond is a great family park with options of swimming and there is a decent sized playground that has lots of activities. There are many places to walk and you are able to fish there on land or canoe/kayak. I Would give 5 stars but I dislike how they close and lock the gates...
