Dora Canal Court Inc. — Attraction in Tavares

We had a very very short stay in Tavares while visiting family and the hotel options in the area were meh. They wanted as much as our St. Augustine beachfront hotel for little lake county so I reached out to Erica to see if we could rent a cottage (I might be getting old but I’m not anywhere near the 55+ park age haha). She was so gracious and picked out the perfect bungalow for us - it has all the comforts of home, the BEST bed - omg I slept like a baby - and was absolutely spotless. I’m a hotel snob and super picky about where I’ll sleep and this was better than many hotels I’ve stayed in. Cozy for 2 people for 2 days. Bed was very comfortable, full refrigerator/freezer and 2 burner glass stove top was nice for cooking breakfast. Everything inside looked new, kit hen sink/faucet, same in the bathroom, and the new vynl flooring was easy on the feet. Quiet neighborhood while we were there. Sweet spot in a convenient quiet location. The recently remodelled cottage we stayed in was cute as a button and space was used extremely efficiently. Well furnished and comfortable.
