What is it about Tractor Supply that you can't go in there without buying something even though you tell yourself I'm not a farmer and I don't need anything here. There's always something for your pets. There's always something for around the house. There's always something on clearance. I just got beautiful, bright colored aluminum flashlights for stocking stuffers. They're only five dollars each they're in black, tan, jade green and red. The beams are exceptionally bright. What more could you ask for. I also picked up some summer stuff for next year's Garden that was on clearance. Just two weeks ago they're 40 lb of bird seed was on sale for $20 ..the black sunflower seed. This time of year they're loaded with gift items, hysterical cards for birthdays, a lot of things for children for Christmas, and then just plain old practical items. Read moreThis walmart is just sad. Most days of the week you can barely find registers open, which causes massive lines. This walmart is usually very busy. I don't understand how they can't have more registers open to get things moving more quickly. Also, they have problems with their inventory where things are moldy, or gross, and they have issues with taking outdated items off the shelves. I have also more times than I can remember picked up things only to find them being broken, opened, or sticky. Read moreMy star assignment to strip malls is arbitrary. I suppose one could see having a giant Dollar Tree and a Walmart as convenient - or is it more of a hat on a hat? One thing this stretch of pavement has going for it is that it is one of the four (identified) seasonal seagull sanctuaries of NEPA. For reasons I don't actually understand but assume have to do with migratory patterns, twice a year for a week or two this and three other lots are home for traveling seagulls. They spend all day ruining freshly washed cars from one lot to the next and then hunker down on the roof of a Dollar Tree.
