They have the best burgers I've ever eaten in my life, and it's no exaggeration. I ordered the porta bella burger for myself and the brew burger for my hubby. Even after being so full that the thought of putting more food in my mouth should be considered a crime, I couldn't stop thinking about how good my burger tasted. Even while I ate it, I made sounds as if I were in a restaurant commercial, a customer whose taste buds were overwhelmed in a good way. I know it wouldn't be good for my wallet and diet, but I want to have that burger again, and it hasn't been a week yet.
And I haven't even mentioned the boneless wings that my hubby and I ordered as a sort of appetizer to share between us. We ordered it with the peach bourbon BBQ sauce, and we couldn't stop saying yum as we devoured it.
Even the fries that come with the burgers by default are good enough to call Grandma about.
The only thing that I can think of to warn patrons about is that be aware that the algorithm from UberEATS about how long it takes for your order to get ready is extremely off point. Do not trust it. This restaurant has its high traffic hours and there's no way your order would be done in just 20 minutes like UberEATS told me it would. Don't be like me and arrive with groceries - including delicious tiramisu ice cream waiting in the trunk- thinking it's just wave-and-leave kind of pick-up. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes because it turns out they were slammed in the kitchen. Thankfully my ice cream didn't melt (thanks to the insulated bag it was in). Don't trust UberEATS algorithm.
The staff was so sympathetic they gave my hubby a fancy beer on the house! He was so happy for it! Next time, we are definitely sitting in to enjoy the...
Read moreFirst off this is the most super casual place I've ever seen. People look like they just stop what they were doing at home and came over. Some people were there in their uniform straight from work. Inside it's a total Tavern atmosphere. Outside there are tables and chairs and some umbrellas ...see pictures. They tried to dress it up with some plants and there's a Bandstand for entertainment. Unfortunately we were sitting right next to oldwood and but look like an air conditioner or fan. On to food. We had the boneless chicken bites which were perfectly done. Very crisp on the outside very moist and juicy on the inside. They're Buffalo sauces are very very hot! This including the honey Buffalo. I had to switch to the Parmigiano garlic which is not hot at all.. there is no habenero Spice in it. The Waitresses need to understand what people want to know if it's hot it's because they have stomach issues that can't handle habanero spice. They can't take hot , hot .they get very sick don't just say ,"oh they're all fine they're not hot." I was nauseated in 4 bites. The ceaser salad to share was huge and delicious. You can tell alot about a restaurant from its salads. If they put effort into their salads, they put effort into everything. They have a large list of draft beers and even longer list of cans and bottles. Prices are average for what they are. Between us we spent $12 just on the first two drinks one draft one can. You can definitely believe the story that this was started by two guys who wanted to have some place to drink and eat with buddies. Decent selection of Tavern Foods. Though I've only tasted the wing bites people at work Rave about the burgers...
Read moreThis was my first time trying The Union Craft House. A work colleague suggested it as he spoke very highly of them. I was there Friday, 10/28/2022 at night for a takeout.
I work very close by in the industrial park and decided to order online for a pickup. They use ChowNow from their website to order. That part was flawless and easy. I ordered 2 hours early and you can choose your pickup time. After that, everything went down hill. I was notified my pickup time was changed to a later time. Again, I ordered 2 hours early because it says they close at 10pm and my lunch period at work is at a certain time.
I get there 10 minutes early and the place wasn't busy. Waited a couple minutes for someone to take care of me. They went to get my order and I asked if the side of sauce was in the bag. He says it's in there. I took his word for it. So now I get back to work, a four minute ride and I have no side sauce that I paid for and my wing bites were ice cold. Surprisingly the only thing that was hot were the French fries.
Did I call back? No. I had to hurry to eat because of my order time changing, plus the website says they close at 10pm. I couldn't get back over there even if they were open because I would be off lunch and back to work.
Sorry, Union Craft House. Since this was my first time patronizing your establishment, I just don't have a very good...
