McDowell Nature Center — Attraction in Tega Cay

It’s a beautiful park, but dont you dare leave anything valuable in your car. I went to walk the trails with my daughters school group, and left my purse in the car, something I had done all the time at other parks. When we got back, my credit cards where stolen. The thieves left my purse, but took my credit cards. The park dose have signs saying to be aware of thieves, but took no other action in trying to fix the problem further then that. There are no cameras, no patrols by police or park staff, and no desire from the park to fix the problem. If it had not been for my credit card calling me, I would have been taken for thousands of dollars. Moral of the story: DONT LEAVE YOU STUFF IN THE CAR!!! If you cant take it with you,...
