We went tent camping here. The campground had electricity and clean bathrooms. The park itself was beautiful. The beach area had been flooded due to all of the rain. The check in was quick and easy. You can buy ice, firewood, and novelties. They are close to 4 other state parks.

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and suggested other attractions nearby we were interested in. The office was easy to find and the store had a lot of interesting park branded items to purchase if you want some memorabilia.

Very nice campground. Quiet and clean. Waterfalls are fabulous. Lots of good trails. Even has a sand beach. Bathroom is clean and in good order. The showers are hot. This is a good one.

We fell victim to the new Tennessee Reservation System this week as the system had canceled the reservations we made 12 months ago and assigned someone else to our spot. We contacted reservation central, and they assigned us a spot for the night. The following morning, we went to the park office, and the staff was able to assign us a suitable substitute site to accommodate our needs. The biggest problem is that in order to complete the transaction, we were charged for a new reservation at the current rates for a problem cause by a system failure resulting in $85 in added cost for a reservation we had paid for 12 months earlier. Plus, nearly a day taken off of our trip dealing with the fallout of their system failure... or go home... I want to add that the park staff was polite, friendly, and compassionate while bearing the brunt of this abysmal system...

By far the best waterfalls in Southeast Tennessee, and I've seen them all. And when the water level is low in the fall, you can climb down the terraced stone to the bottom of most areas. Bring a life jacket if you plan on swimming, as 102 people have died here over the years. Also very clean restrooms and facilities and picnic areas. A few moderately nice trails, but the falls define the landscape and will imprint on you for life....

Absolutely love this place!!! Great for everyone. So much to see. Has a beach. Trails are nice. The waterfalls!!! If you take power house road to see twin falls, I promise there is more. You have to go on the other side of the day. If you go on the side of the day with all the stuff on it, I promise it is worth the 15min drive to go on the other side. Even if you are just riding by, it's worth a...
