Easy, accessible, relaxing, beginner friendly hike that has good views of lake in one side. Not too many people when I went and the trail itself was clean and a good place to relax or clear your mind. Check it out if you’re in the area !

Beautiful views for a day trip. We did not swim but families were swimming. There is no shade but we did not stay long to need it. Parking is limited and they do close if it reaches capacity. Over great area to hang out or swim.

Absolutely beautiful place to go for a variety of reasons. You can go to the beach itself and swim, take a nice long walk, have a picnic or just hang out. Typical friendly Texas folk, beautiful and tranquil.

The best view of the lake is on the damn road walk. Really enjoyed the views, very concerning is the low water levels. It is starting to look like Lake Mead in Las Vegas in the early 20s.

Water level is super low. It’s a bad thing how our climate has changed so much lately affecting such a Beautiful lake as this one. All we can do is pray for rain!
