Not a bad facility, but had two major problems:

First is the lap pool water was insanely hot - had to be easily high 90’s. That’s pretty crazy for a lap pool. I usually have good endurance lap swimming but was out of breath just from the temperature baking me. My goggles also fogged before I even submerged (not even kidding).

Second problem is the lap pool is super, super dirty. Tons of leaves and dirt at the bottom of the pool and surrounding it. Which confuses me, because it’s an indoor lap pool haha. Very dirty though. Just seemed like the pool - even facility - was extremely neglected and not taken care of.

It seems like this facility is pretty terrible but here’s the thing:

I think if they actually cleaned their pool twice a day and lowered the temp of the water by about four to five degrees to meet the standard set by most competition pools, it would probably be one of the best pools to train in. Good hours of operation, great size pool, wonderful lifeguards who were really nice, and solid price for a day of training.

Like I said, the facility’s only two major flaws were: 1) absolutely steaming hot temperature of the water, and 2) the mounds of leaves and dirt at the bottom of the pool and around the edges. Fix those two problems and they’d honestly have one hell of a...

If i could rate 0 stars i would They need to hire better lifeguards instead of incompetent still in highschool children. They are completely over staffed.

While being there this past tuesday everywhere i looked too many children were in danger and while they were, all of the lifeguards were just talking to each other not paying attention. On my way over to change nearing closing time i over hear a staff member speaking to a woman about an "accident" her child had. While in the changing area i hear another staff member ask another customer about another "accident" her child and herself had. I probably heard about 5 different problems they had within 30 minutes i can only imagen what more "accidents" go one while their "Life guards" are on duty during the open hours. Horrible place they must really get a better human resources department so they dont hire these irresponsible life guards.

I advice you not to go here unless you want to actually drown because trust me with those lifeguards attention skills the likelyhood of that happening...

This is a very nice park, great way to pass your day. I’ve gone 3 times. The first time I went I had an amazing experience, especially in the natatorium, the staff were very nice that day, one in particular would help and encourage you. The second time I went was meh, since the natatorium wasn’t open. The reason I gave 2 stars was because this last time I went some staff were rude, also since I got there when it barely opened I was the first on the slide, while going down I roughly hit my head with a raft stuck on the yellow slide NOT MEANT FOR RAFTS, I don’t think any staff members would let anyone visiting do this therefore I believe it was one of the staff members although I can’t confirm it. This also proves that the people working there don’t revise or check the slides before their customers get on them, what a shame, I could’ve fainted. They offered me an ice pack, just an ice pack, the life guard immediately took it off. I will come again but I really hope...

The place is well maintained, there's a lot of lifeguards on duty supervising the kids, following CDC guidelines and procedures including evacuating pools if fluids are detected like blood and vomit. There's 3 waterslides and 2 pools for kids, there's another pool but is only used to exercise so you have to be swimming from side to side nonstop and costs extra, the food could be a little bit more healthier since there's only hotdogs, nachos and Cheetos, but it's ok I guess and within the parameter since the valley is leader in obesity nationwide LOL, aside from that is a nice place to spend the afternoon while kids have fun.

It was our first visit, but I was surprised that the price they had at the entrance was nothing like what they actually charged me at the entrance. That shouldn't happen. The lifeguard service was exceptional, I have no complaints with the boys, on the contrary, I am grateful for the attention and protection that I felt over all those who were inside. They sell snacks and some light snacks that do not exceed 2 dollars, a very reasonable price and nothing exaggerated. I would recommend planting a little more vegetation than shade and the yellow slide to be ready for times like these.

💦🤿 we loved this place. There’a lots to do to entertain the kiddos and you can bring your own food & 🥤 from outside. It seemed a bit expensive for us. $30 for 2 adults & a kid. Too much. But there was no wait in line. The 🛟 lifeguards are respectful & courteous. There are a ton of lifeguards so the kids are safe. There’s several toddler slides & adult slides, lazy river, 🛟and indoor pools. 🏊💦🔫 this location definitely has it more together than Edinburg. We’re coming from Edinburg bc the new water park is a joke. If this place offers season passes we’ll get some! Would be worth it.
