Paul Antypas Jeweler — Attraction in Toledo

A couple weeks ago, I lost a diamond in my Anniversary ring that my husband gave me 16 years ago for our 14th Wedding Anniversary! I knew right where to go! Paul Antypas! He had resized and retipped my wedding ring a couple years ago and did a wonderful job! I had not had this ring off my finger for 16 years so of course I couldn't get it off so I cut it off my self with wire cutters and really messed it up! I took it into Paul and he said 'no problem, I will fix it for you!' And he did! He brought out the diamonds and made the correct selection for the setting to replace the one I lost, while I watched. He retipped the rest of the prongs on the ring (6 more) and resized the ring. It was done in less than 48 hours and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! IT LOOKED BRAND NEW!! You cannot tell where the ring was cut and it sparkled like it had never been worn!!! I was so thrilled, I cried! What a wonderful early Christmas gift from my husband and what talent Paul Antypas has! We made the right choice going back and we'll be going back in the future for any jewelry needs! 2 years ago my husband received his grandfather's watch. It was from the forties and in very poor condition. I took it into Mr Antypas and I was very nervous because I knew how much it meant to my husband. It was one of the best Christmas presents I was able to give my husband Mr.Antypas did an incredible job restoring it. I was very proud to give this gift to my husband on Christmas Day, he actually teared up. Every time I walk through the door I am greeted with a smile, from him and his beautiful wife. They're both always very gracious and kind. Recently I brought in a necklace that my son picked out, I bought it from a local store the clasp broke and the pendant fell off, Mr. Antypas was able to replace it with silver and even engraved my son's name on the back of it, my son wears it every day. I have several other pieces of jewelry that I've had for years but I can no longer wear because they are broken or too small, piece by piece I'm taking it in to him for adjustments. I went to see Paul about making an anniversary ring for my wife and my 30th wedding anniversary! I had an idea what I wanted and he was able to make it from scratch. He is that talented a jeweler. He doesn't send his work out. He does it all. The ring turned out better than I could have imagined.
