We did the hiking trails that were located at Crandall III and most of the trails were marked, some were not. It was serene, peaceful, and very rocky. Make sure that you pay attention to where you're walking. The turn for the trailhead is not marked at the street, so you need to make a right at the Lodge right before the bridge. It's after the park itself where there's a playground and a small parking lot. I would definitely hike it again. Bring water and make sure you definitely wear bug spray, it was very buggy out.

One of the best parks in Tolland. The cider mill pond is a cute place to swim in the summer. The hiking trails are perfect. All the flowers ans blooms of the spring and summer are magical to be immersed in.

A great quiet early morning hike, beautiful woods, hills, rocky outcroppings on the red trail.

The baseball field had a game in play with plenty of attendance giving the park a bit of cheerful sound. Although I didn't have much time to spend, I only stopped to waste about 20 minutes while waiting for someone, I was able to cover the general area of the park without actually walking it. It's not a huge place so I wouldn't recommend making a day of it but definitely worth taking a stroll or relaxing hike. If you live close they have a beautiful community garden which I made sure to photograph the contact info for. I especially enjoyed the rock walls along some of the...

We adore Crandall. Nice walking areas and trailds in the forrest. The pond is right there and assessible from the beach and opposite side. There's a kiddie area (when there are no kids around take a go on the swing set, we do 😹). 🐕 Friendly, just pick up the 💩. Community garden, baseball fields, basketball, there's a lodge for gatherings, pavilions for picnics (nicely maintained)... GREAT for huge gatherings because there's something for everyone to do ❗❗❗ Clean too (port a potties on sight...hey nature...
