The Whalemobile — Local services in Topsfield

When deciding on a theme for my 2024 Book Fair, I immediately thought about an ocean theme with Cynde and the Whalemobile as my Gallery Guests. It was definitely the right choice. Cynde and her assistant, Kristin, did an amazing job and our students learned so much. Not only were Cynde and Kristin extremely knowledgeable about the ocean and its creatures, they were passionate and enthusiastic and that excitement spread to the students. The stations were fast paced and informative and packed full of fascinating facts about whales. Whether going into the whalemobile to learn about Nile, the humpback, or examining artifacts such as baleen, whale teeth, and bones, this up close and personal presentation left our students excited and wanting to check out all of the ocean books that I had in the library. Kids are so excited when they get to tell their parents/adults that they got to go inside a whale. The experience is like no other that you have ever done. To learn about whales in such a way that is so engaging and fun, is one of the best gifts we can give our kids. We have had the Whalemobile come the past 2 years to our Extended School Year program and both times the kids left talking about how cool it was. A day later, there was still a student talking about it and how much he loved it! Kristin was our presenter both times and she is so fun and engaging. The kids love that she knows so much but that she is able to share her experiences with them as well is something that they won't forget either. 10 out of 10 recommend the Whalemobile...

We highly recommend Cynde and the Whalemobile for an educational and enjoyable experience! During our recent Whalemobile visit, the power went out due to severe thunderstorms and tornadoes nearby. Cynde didn't miss a beat. She expertly ushered 20 children out of the deflating whale, gathered them in a circle, and continued her program. The kids were unfazed. Cynde went above and beyond to keep the children occupied longer than planned, knowing that we would all be there for a while waiting for the storm to end.
