Zero stars if I could. I've had a fair share of high-end luxury and will remain with confidentiality in this due to how severe the conditions are. Last night I'm showering and their are young woman screaming… it startled me. Then they were laughing. I popped my head out its staff and women I'm assuming that are off work but hanging out with them? Very unprofessional! Where do I begin? Don't waste your money. You don't get what you pay for, maybe a hospital bill for a fungal infection. Unless you want to pay a fortune that they mislead on many different aspects of the gym. First of all, the staff (female locker rooms) are always gossiping about one another, and I'm a regular. I do regret returning back here after some time because nothing has changed. For women like myself, I enjoy the women's sauna over the coed one by the indoor pool. However for the money I work so hard to keep up with this membership, the sauna is always “out of service” and when it is, it is always filthy, including the steam room. The showers are a walking biohazard and I've nearly stepped on blades and cut myself from a used razor. How about sharps containers in the shower? Also, I don't appreciate the sign of no pictures or recording in the locker room when a woman took a selfie and then proceeded to take more even after seeing I was in a towel about to change. She then “sighed” in frustration because I ruined her selfie because I was trying to change in the background. A worker witnessed this. Not surprised they didn't remind her of the policy or to look to the sign that is to the right. I only come here daily because of the price of this place but its honestly not worth it if you're deciding to join a “waitlist.” they are not high-end or luxury as they advertise. Also, black mold all over the place. Nothing is properly cleaned. I've walked away with rashes from trying to clean myself after a workout. Never towels but you'll ALWAYS FIND staff gossiping not doing their jobs and talking about other staff and male co-workers. You're better off going to another establishment. The pools and outdoor amenities are off -limits unless you pay an additional $350 fee! So basically rent at this point. Not worth the money, and you are most certainly not getting what you pay for. I will be taking my hard working money else where to actually “Love” MY life as they put. No contrast therapy as they advertise. No cold plunge, no working sauna. Risk for potential cut from someones used razor and potential bloodborne pathogens, gossiping staff, black mold everywhere. Ask for a tour, and take a look for yourself. We pay a fortune in taxes and work hard for subpar experiences? Also, family rooms are rarely used when children are running all over the place and women are stealing items left and right. I can't speak for the men though. Thanks Lifetime Harrison you guys are false advertising and you don't care about the safety of your members including the kids attending camp! Even contacting risk management and their manager or CEO is a challenge.

We recently joined LifeTime at Harrison as a family of four, and after a week of exploring its offerings, we are thrilled with our experience. Updated: -Kid Swim Lesson My daughter, currently at the 501 level, has been searching for someone who can help refine her swimming strokes. Katrina was exactly what we needed! She worked with my daughter to improve her technique, focusing on body alignment to enhance her swimming efficiency. Katrina's methods were clear, effective, and made a noticeable difference. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to fine-tune their skills! -Outdoor Pool and Slides The outdoor swimming pool is fantastic, complete with exciting slides that our kids can't get enough of. It's a perfect spot for family fun and relaxation. -Indoor Lap Pool The indoor lap pool is ideal for those looking to swim year-round. It's clean, well-maintained, and provides a great environment for both casual swimmers and serious athletes. We've also signed our kids up for a series of four swim lessons in the indoor pool area as complimentary. Additionally, it's worth noting that swim caps are not required in the indoor pool, making it more convenient for everyone. However, one downside is that the chlorine in the family pool can be quite strong, which might be a concern for those sensitive to it. -Rock Climbing The rock climbing area is a big hit with our kids. Special thanks to Tim and Joseph, who were both amazing. Tim was especially encouraging to our son, helping him achieve his goals and boosting his confidence. Thank you, Tim!! Our daughter, who has rock climbing before, also enjoyed the challenge and had an amazing time. -Squash We tried squash for the first time, and it was a blast. The gym offers racket rentals, making it easy to try out new activities. Our boy particularly enjoyed this new sport. -Parking Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours. While I usually find a spot without much trouble, there are times when I've had to circle a couple of times to find one. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience is still highly positive. -Overall Experience We aren't typically gym-goers, but LifeTime at Harrison is changing that. It's a wonderful addition to our family's routine, providing a range of activities that cater to all our interests. From fitness classes to recreational activities, there's something for everyone. We're excited to continue exploring all that LifeTime has to offer and highly recommend it to other families looking for a place to spend quality time together while staying active and healthy.

12/17, 2024 I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience at LifeTime located at 1 Westchester Park Dr in West Harrison when dropping off my child for tennis training. While I understand the importance of safety and liability protocols, the process of ID checks at the front desk is inconsistent and unnecessarily burdensome. On multiple occasions, I have been allowed to proceed without an ID check, while at other times, the front desk insists on verifying my ID. Today, I was told that the reason for checking my ID was “because your child is a minor, and it’s a liability thing.” This reasoning does not seem entirely logical, as there is no clear explanation of how my ID relates to liability for dropping off a child for scheduled activity. More concerningly, during today’s interaction, the front desk staff addressed me in a way that implied I was my child’s nanny. I found this assumption both insulting and discriminatory. It further highlights a lack of proper employee training in customer service, professionalism, and sensitivity to diversity. I urge LifeTime to implement consistent policies for ID checks and ensure employees are well-trained to communicate these policies respectfully and uniformly to all members. Clearer protocols and improved training will help avoid confusion and ensure every customer feels valued, respected, and free from discriminatory assumptions. 12/18/2024 Forgot to mention, in addition to the experience I had, I must question why Life Time - a facility dedicated to promoting fitness, healthy eating, and overall wellness - offers PACKED MICROWAVEABLE MAC & CHEESE to CHILDREN!! Selling such an option, particularly at $8 US dollars, seems at odds with the gym's mission to encourage healthy lifestyles. This discrepancy raises legitimate concerns about the alignment between the food offerings and Life Time's stated commitment to health and wellness. If the focus is truly on fostering a healthier community, the available food options should reflect those values. otherwise, it creates the impression that these unhealthy, addictive choices are being offered to undermine members' progress, ensuring they remain dependent on gym services rather than achieving their fitness goals.

So I don't know who these reviewers have encountered at Lifetime, but I feel that everyone that works there, are really pretty good people. The front desk is attentive (not on their cell phones) and the only time there is a line to check in is because members don't have their cards ready, we're all guilty of it. The locker room attendants are always visible, and are nice to you (especially when you acknowledge their presence and smile occasionally, weird I know) I don't do private training sessions, but it hasn't stopped me from being able to speak to them, ask them what they think about a workout, etc.. the group instructors are great, any issue I've seen with classes (I.e. not enough weights or straps) they have been solved .. I've seen staff CARRY SPIN BIKES just to accommodate classes. Yes some of them are PACKED. (A sign of a great group fitness program. I think its foolish to expect empty classes at 5:45 on a weekday, or 915 on Saturday.) I'm guilty, i've turned away from some, but if you want the workout, you'll tell yourself "go in and ask the instructor if they can find me space." And they will. Like I said they CARRY BIKES. As for the free weights and machines, I've never seen one out of service for more than a day. And obviously there will be weights left on racks, anyone who has ever been to a gym knows this. I feel it's NOT the gym's issue all the time- on peak hrs, yell at your fellow members, just like wiping down mats, or balls after a group class. I don't have a child, but the kids academy is AWESOME clearly because I never see kiddies running around, unless it's under their parents supervision in the cafe. They're over there teaching kids Mandarin, Spanish, karate, tennis, and more.. it must be awesome to be a kid at lifetime. The only reasons I won't give 5 stars is because 1. I feel there needs to be adult time for the waterslides and rock wall. I'm paying, not these 10 year olds so if it's 10am and I want to waterslide, I should be able to without waiting for 3pm. After the evening class rush and it gets quiet, the cafe staff slows down also, or I only see one person working, even though their co-workers are visibly taking breaks while there is a line forming, I know it's late but don't leave your co-workers out to dry.
