We stay at the Smith Point Campground often. You are literally camping feet from the beach and the bay. The views are spectacular. The campground is clean, family friendly and well run. The restroom and shower houses, of which there are several, are clean, well lit, and convenient. There is a large, fun, safe playground for tots. And, in season, there is a concession stand for snacks, ice cream and whatever. Each site has a built in Firepit for evening ambiance, a patio and picnic table. I recommend this...

During my stay in USA! Very first beach i visited that was Smithpoint beach which quiet and clean water! I like the most this beach in the city of new york. I visited this beach again with Mamon Adnan families as I stayed with them and we are relatives my parents cousin and best of me from childhood. May God give them Sehat Ameen! Been coming here for over 30 years... Memories with my children when they were small ...they are all adults now ... always clean , plenty of life guards...the people are respectful...joe Tiki cafe is always fun with live bands or DJ music...great drinks ...plenty of...
