AMAZING. I cannot overstate how much I loved this park. My toddler had a blast, my teenage siblings had a blast, and I had to ask someone else to hold the baby so that I could get in on the action. Clearly a thoughtful, innovative space, intentionally designed to challenge children in developmentally appropriate ways. Read moreWe love Cook Park. They have an awesome playground for the younger kids. It is enclosed with only one way in and out. They have a zip line like structure at one end and swings for children with disabilities as well. There are plenty of things to climb on as well. There are a few fields to run around on, if you don't feel like hanging in the playground. Several trails run around the park, so you can get some walking in. They even have a dog park out back and baseball fields. There are restrooms and picnic tables. There's a small pond with a fountain. There are frequently ducks and geese hanging around...
Read morePlayground is safe and inclusive for kiddos!! (I love playgrounds designed to be wheelchair friendly!!! Makes my heart sooo happy!!) Best part is it's completely fenced in, with only one gate to enter and exit (parents are on top of that gate too, it's always been properly latched every time I go)..with trafficking a real worry these days, this is the only local playground I'll take my kiddo to if I'm by myself. More playgrounds need to be as closed in as this one is.
Also! Dog park!! One side for big one for little, and they have agility equipment set up for the doggos!! That was fun...
