LOOSE SENSOR POPPED MY STROLLER TIRE Went to the new Burlington in Colonie by Target recently. The store layout is definitely better than when it was located in Crossgates Mall, however, the cleanup is still not great. Some things were stocked to the gills and some things were bare. Most importantly, there were items all over the floor in several aisles and I saw several employees walking around, so it’s not a lack of staff. There is no management of the loose tags/items/etc. Because of this, as my child and I strolled through the store looking for some items, I noticed my stroller was suddenly lopsided and squeaking, I looked down to see a sensor had popped my tire! Absolutely flat! (An expensive problem to fix due to negligence of the store presentation). When I brought this up to the Shift Manager at checkout, she seemed attentive and offered me a small discount on my purchases but otherwise had an approach of, “That sucks, there’s nothing we can do.” She didn’t chat with anyone else about the situation and seemed to want to just take the sensor and smooth over the situation. Luckily it was just a tire but what if my child had stepped on it or picked it up off the floor? This could’ve been so dangerous! I definitely left frustrated and like the problem was not solved. (Appreciate the discount but it amounted to maybe 15% of the cost to fix the tire on a stroller I use daily and have since not been able to use for a week while I wait for replacement parts… a HUGE inconvenience). Needless to say, I think I’ll choose another store in the future until they can clean up the store a bit and be more attentive of sharply things around the store.

It's hard to describe how far this place has fallen. It looks like a hoarder's basement and not a department store. There are genuine trip hazards everywhere; you literally can barely stroll a cart through the aisles because everything is strewn about. One of the employees was wandering around muttering loudly that he had to do everything himself. I'm not sure if that was extreme frustration or mental illness, but it was not a comfortable experience to witness. I would strongly recommend you avoid the store, unless you are the kind of person to trip and fall at a location and then sue them - plenty of opportunities for that.

Their bathroom is locked! The 2 ladies hanging clothes by the counter today said its for staff only, no for public! Unbelievable! I think its not working like that. They just dont want to help me to open the bathroom. Manager should know whats happening.

I wouldn''t recommend this place at all. Not only is it messy and disorganized but the aisles are narrow. I literally have to either move out the aisle or squeeze against the clothes to let someone pass by. I had a horrible experience today. I am a curvy/hourglass body shape and I was waiting in the aisle for my sister to finish in the dressing room. There was this security officer guy wearing neon green who was hesitated in front of the aisle. Then he literally mad his way thru the aisle I was at. Mind you, the aisle right by me was CLEAR! he could of passed thru there. However, he was very close to me an it made me uncomfortable. Being a male, one should have respect for a female's space and try to work around that. I have noticed in my lifetime it was the males who always move past me when they pass. It is very unprofessional of a "Security" guy to pass by that close to a female. It's disrespectful and it made me uncomfortable. The aisles are narrow as is and the aisle next to me was CLEAR! why pass thru me? I literally had to push up on the clothes for him to get by! even then..my bust area was close to him which I didn't like. I haven't been in this location for a long time and I am not coming back. The other reviewers here who left negative comments are justified. This place is messy and unbearable. I have never been so happy to leave a place! I powerwalked to the exit!...

So was on a mission to find dress pants. I was missing out on some tan or khaki colored ones so was making the rounds trying to find a good place to pick some up.

I'm a big fan of Express and so stopped there first - they had one pair I liked but they were just too pricey and unless they are running a promo I usually sit tight (although I do love their clothes)

Then made my way around and my girlfriend said we should stop at burlington coat because they have a lot of selection and we could land some good buys there.

It wasn't more than 20 seconds spent in there and I simply was gunning for the exit. The entire place looked like a manager hasn't been hired and it was a free for all zoo let loose.

Speechless.

Clothes were all over the floor and hanging off racks like the entire store had not been zoned in a month.

It was a filthy mess with crap everywhere and apparently no employees. I was so stunned by how disguising this place was I literally walked about 20 seconds into this place and felt so uncomfortable like walking into a department store which just got robbed by 2 dozen people.

Will never come to this location again - I hope other locations are decent - but my girlfriend and I looked at each other and were just like... "NOPE"

Hire some competent managers and slap this place...
