The woman who owns the winery is the absolute sweetest that you will ever meet. My mother and I went to celebrate my birthday and she was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She knows so much about wine and let us taste several different kinds. The winery itself is so cozy, and has a large outdoor deck. It was raining so we didn’t sit outside but she offered to dry down a table for us if we wanted. There is a huge array of little cheeses and chips to pair with your wine as well. The vibe inside is amazing.
And, I ended up forgetting my wallet at the winery, and she was kind enough to package it up and have it ready for me even after they’d closed. The hospitality is next level. You won’t regret...
   Read moreI've been to a LOT of wineries for tastings. Three things that I love and make this place just amazing: They have great solid wines that are very drinkable and not super expensive. Bottles are $15-20 each. They offer wine tastings that are free for the first two wines and then $1 for every additional taste. THIS IS AMAZING!!! They have a great little outdoor patio to just chill on. Note: they don't offer hot food but have a selection of cheeses, crackers, and salsa and chips to go with the wine too.

   Read moreEnjoyed 4 tastings of the wine at El Paso Wineries. I chose from 10 they were offering today (2nd day open for this season). I was pleasantly surprised - I liked all 4 of them. Ive done wine tasting in California, South Africa and NY Finger Lakes and its fun to find a winery in my "back yard" that has good wines. I went home with 3 bottles of wine... they won't last long :-) Two of the sweet white wines were similar, so I settled on the one that was aged in oak. The other 2 were dry/semi-dry.
