The level of quality of Everhaunt sets the highest standard for Halloween experiences in our region. Every aspect exudes professionalism. The have addressed all of the details. Tickets being purchased online with a chosen time slot helps you plan your visit. There is no wait. Parking is ample & adjacent to the building. There are port-a-potties with a hand washing station. They have employees facilitating parking/traffic control. You wait in line under a tent smelling the delicious steak, peppers, onions, of Steve & Al’s Steak Out…extremely appealing & tempting! The staff bring your group into the ticket area separate from everyone else. At the ticket window the experience is explained to you & you need to sign a waiver. Next, you enter into a lobby. This is not the haunted house yet. They have a lobby where you enter the 1st house, will exit the 2nd house, & can play games, go to the escape room, get photos taken in their Scream booth, & buy autographs/take photos with horror stars. The lady who ushers you into the 1st house is quite a character. Fun, scary, creepy, chatty…all you want her to be. The house is SO well designed! Incorporating elevators, scenarios admitting you to the asylum, confusion…look up, to the sides, behind you…don’t miss anything! When you exit you go to the Pumpkin Spectacular. Here there is a riddle you can solve, games to play, & a port-a-pottie. You are given a timer buzzer so you know when to proceed. The owners want you to have the best experience, so they time everything. The decor of the 2nd house was even better than the first. Take time to appreciate the scenes it sets up catching all of the props & creatures. It is very very cool. They said they change up their houses every year. This unassuming building in Angola greatly exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed adding Everhaunt to our Halloween fun & will no doubt be back next year. After losing the Haunted Catacombs, we started traveling to haunted houses (highly recommend Freddy’s Haunt in Pittsburgh). It is so awesome to have the highest quality with...
Read moreI have been to sooo many haunted houses around the country and this one ranks the highest. The entire experience was flawless, though I can only speak to the fast pass, VIP line. However, it would have been worth waiting in the longer line also now that I know the outcome!!! The people working the ticket booths and line control were extremely welcoming and friendly-which just makes the experience all the better. I was concerned when I first arrived because the building looks so small--wondering how will this be any good? What a surprise!!! I do not know how they did it but they fit so much into the experience yet I never felt rushed or crowded--I loved that they let you go in with only you own group as many places have you go in larger groups and with people you do not know. We had three and it was perfect. The narrow pathways added to the fear and nothing was cliche--it was creative and it was tense, and it was fun. The actors were fantastic and many creeped out from afar. I loved that it was often a guessing game of which way to go--and they utilized darkness to increase the fear factor. My senses were on overdrive. The Scream Cam was an added bonus and though I did not try the coffin--that may be on my list for next time. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place on a Buffalo Bills weekend. I will definitely be returning as I am sure there are so many things I missed --I have a feeling each time I go, there will be something new to scare me to laughter! ...
Read moreEverhaunt in Angola, NY is hands-down one of the best haunted experiences I’ve seen in WNY! The setup and attention to detail are phenomenal, truly impressive! There’s so much to do and experience, and the flow is really well thought out. You start with a haunted house, then move to the Pumpkin Spectacular, which includes games, a riddle to solve, and cider and snacks available for purchase. There are also unique experiences like Buried Alive: The Last Ride, where you lie in a coffin (the top is closed, but you can open it at any time; it lasts about 1.5–2 minutes—claustrophobics take note!).
They also have escape rooms (we didn’t do those), another haunted house, and then pictures, back alley games, and even a horror con series. Our tickets allowed us to meet and greet Zach Gilligan from Gremlins, which was a fun bonus! There’s even a scream booth where you can take photobooth-style pictures with your group.
As far as scariness, I didn’t find it super frightening. It’s definitely creepy, and I experienced one jump scare, but if you’re looking for non-stop action, this might not hit that mark. That said, the experience as a whole is awesome, and I’d absolutely come back and recommend it!
We spent about 3 hours here and drove 1.5 hours to get here, it was totally worth it. If you’re looking for a haunted experience that’s more than just a haunted house, Everhaunt is...
