Frosted Fairytale Bake Shop — Restaurant in Town of Evans

I’ve always been pleased with the service here. I was disappointed with my last cake order. I ordered a cake on a Saturday to be ready by Tuesday evening. I printed out a copy of what I wanted on the cake. I had my husband pick up the cake for me since I would be at work when the bakery closed. When I got home I looked at the cake and it was not what I ordered. Apparently, the printed copy of the logo I provided the bakery was not able to print well-So they went back to a previous cake that I ordered for a similar function and used that. The morning of the program the bakery did say that they could swap it out for me but I was already at work and needed a cake to bring. No other resolution was offered. The bakery never called me to say that there was an issue that could’ve been rectified. I’ll continue to pick up small things I need here or there but when I need a cake or something for an event I will have to go back to the big box store to make sure I am getting what I asked...

Extremely friendly service, the owner is very pleasant, and I highly recommend the cheese cake. The pastries and desserts are kind of expensive though, the cookie prices keep changing, one week they’re 1.25, the next week 1.50, and then back to 1.25. And most stuff is $3.50-$6.00. Pies are $22!?!?! Not even a gourmet shop would charge that much for a pie, must be gold shavings in it. The desserts are good but pricey for the area. Cities aren’t even that much. This is one of very few bakeries in the area, so theres not much competition with prices. Update: i recently went in to the bakery and the cherry cheese danish and cheesecake was delicious. However, still very much so overpriced even with inflation and shortages. This was the worst decorated cake I've ever asked for anywhere. Very expensive and completely not even close to professional. I had to redecorate it when I got home. It was for my 80 year old mom birthday party. I hesitated to even rate this as I've never written a bad review for anyone. I redid it all and added the daisy's as shown and lemons and tried my best to fix it. Originally it only had blueberries outlining the cake no flowers no daisy's nothing I asked for.
