Yes, the sunsets are beautiful, but the park is very small and gets pretty crowded at sunset (duh). We stopped her on a beautiful Saturday evening in July and it was indeed very pretty. It's not really a "park" though, since it's basically just an overlook with a wall and a bit of grassy lawn. There is a better "Sunset Park" in Sturgeon Bay with trails and more things to do. But if you are in Fish Creek and just want to walk to the end of Main Street to watch the sun set, this is great! Sun can be seen setting in lake horizon, with no obstacles and with a clear horizon view and open space it looks gorgeous. The sky colors can be seen really well. There's a small area to sit and watch the sunset and a little stone wall alongside the lake. We went when the lake was frozen completely and the sunset was extra special. There is an adjacent little woods that seems to be part of it, too.
