Sunset Beach Park — Attraction in Town of Gibraltar

Yes, the sunsets are beautiful, but the park is very small and gets pretty crowded at sunset (duh). We stopped her on a beautiful Saturday evening in July and it was indeed very pretty. It's not really a "park" though, since it's basically just an overlook with a wall and a bit of grassy lawn. There is a better "Sunset Park" in Sturgeon Bay with trails and more things to do. But if you are in Fish Creek and just want to walk to the end of Main Street to watch the sun set, this is great! Absolutely amazing place to watch the sunset. So far my best sunset in lake. Sun can be seen setting in lake horizon, with no obstacles and with a clear horizon view and open space it looks gorgeous. The sky colors can be seen really well. There's a small area to sit and watch the sunset and a little stone wall alongside the lake. We went when the lake was frozen completely and the sunset was extra special. Would love to visit again in different seasons. In general also, there are great views aside from the sunset. A local resident could correct me, but it seems like there are three parts to the park. The southwest corner is a very small rocky beach, great for throwing stones in the water. There is an adjacent little woods that seems to be part of it, too. Finally, Google Maps showed a third piece of the park to the north-- a second beach-- but either the location is wrong in Google Maps or I just can't follow directions, but that second "beach"...
