We loved this park! My kids had a blast, and we really enjoyed the attention to detail. For a better experience, we visited on a Tuesday, which is typically less busy. The temperature was great—not too hot for a summer day—though there was an air quality warning. Luckily, it didn't affect our enjoyment of the park. The park was larger than we expected, and despite our efforts, we couldn't experience every single attraction.
The Good:
There are plenty of games for the whole family. Most rides are baby-friendly as long as they are accompanied by an adult; only two or three rides have age restrictions (not allowing children under 2 years old). The driving school, firefighters area, and boat school have different qualifications for kids under 5 and those over 6, which I found impressive since older kids tend to play rougher than younger ones. The rides provide a perfect mix of options to cater to various preferences.
The “Bad”:
While there weren’t many negative aspects, here are some areas for improvement:
There is only one main roller coaster, so kids over 13 might find the park a bit unimpressive. They don't sell healthy drinks, aside from water. There aren't many maps available around the park, so downloading the app is essential. The water park is not free. We had a reservation but arrived 10 minutes late and were not allowed to enter. Additionally, the time allocated for this attraction is only 20 minutes.
Overall:
We only waited in line for one ride; for everything else, we could hop right on, thanks to our choice to visit on a less busy day. We were allowed to bring a small amount of snacks and water into the park. Contrary to other comments I read, I found that food was readily available, with multiple fast food stations throughout the park. Overall, it was a...
Read moreCome ready to blow out your pockets. The kids will love you but the level of overpriced is crazy. The almost $100 entrance fee does not come with discount on any of these over priced food items your kids will almost certainly beg for. In what world is a $50 popcorn tin acceptable ?? $20 sundae? $50 for chicken nuggets in a toy.?Here at Legoland !!! They have a drive course attraction your child will love but please have $30 bucks for the drivers license at the end of the ride. $30 dollar tee shirts not included. Honestly why more than one parent would ever pay to enter here is a myth for discovery. There is absolutely no shade anywhere in the park and there is not a weekday bar for adults who just want to get away, while their pockets are being dracula’d by at this park. Let me state that the lego cities on display are all amazing. I took some videos to give a sense of the scale of the work. This part of the park was great to look at and see the attention to detail. The bbq restaurant was practically closed at 3:30 so we did not get to try the pulled pork sandwich most people i saw eating.
The parking lot is also literally an excursion, do pack water and ear plugs so you can dull your child’s whine on the way back to the A parking lot because i didn’t want to pay $55 dollars to park down in the VIP lot.
Guys BYOB. Send the moms in and bring a good book to sit in the car with. That alone will...
Read moreI just went monday for spring break. My kid loved it. But the wait time for the rides was ridiculous. Spent almost 1hr on a ride that was barely 1 minute long. I heard it was worse when they just open at 1030. The staff try to be nice but they are understaffed and nothing ran efficient or close to fast. But the place is huge and the kids can run around and play and enjoy themselves. Still, my kid and his...
