I've been going to Beaver Island since I was little. I enjoy the beach, but the restrictions have gotten so insane! You can't wear snorkels or masks that cover your nose, you can't bring balls, you can't go past a certain spot on the beach, you can't go too far out,or the lifeguards will scold you. The sand is nice, but the water is dirty,so I definitely recommend taking a bath/shower when you get home.
