Coachella Nail — Attraction in Town of Greenburgh

I really enjoyed my experience here. The tech who did my nails was so sweet, friendly, and very patient with my nails. I hate that I can't remember her name. (I went 2 days ago, memory is gone lol) She had another client come in and kind of demand to be seen while I was being worked on, and she politely asked me if I minded. (A Karen is gonna Karen... lmao.) I really didn't, because on top of my nail tech being so sweet, another colleague gave me the best 15 minute massage ever! I was literally falling asleep in the chair lol. I did spend about an hour and a half on just my nails, so that would be my only negative thing to say. I ended up not having enough time to get a pedicure that day- don't worry I will be back! Lol. I opted for the UV gel extensions, and I love that the nail tech took her time to make sure I was happy. If she saw something that didn't look right she fixed it immediately, and didn't just ignore like many other salons. I really enjoyed my experience! I will definitely be calling in the morning to make my appointment for my pedicure! She took such good care of my little stubby hands! 😅 If you read this far, you seriously don't need to read any more reviews. Just go! Lol. I promise you, you will enjoy the salon. Although this salon does a nice job, I have been to this nail salon a handful of times now and have experiences the same scenario - for example, I went one time and asked for a dip powder gel, the woman who was taking care of me stated she didn’t know how to do it so she was trying to convince me to get an acrylic gel, since she knew how to do that - I said no and she kept trying to convince me to get it. Finally another woman came over and did the dip for me, which is what I had originally asked for. I went another time after and asked for a basic pedicure, they tried to upsell me again trying to add extra services. Once I was done with my pedicure and sitting there waiting for them to dry, another woman came over trying to get me to sit for a gel manicure and would not take no for an answer - she finally got the hint that I did not want my nails done at this time. She then proceeded to try and get me to sit for a massage. Getting my nails done should be a relaxing experience, however, I am always harassed to get more services done. I am the customer and should not have to experience this. If I ask for a certain service, they should oblige and should not push for me to get more done. EDIT: The first time I visited this place was the only time I had a good experience. Queenie was rude and wouldn’t allow me to see my nails or correct a mistake until she had cured them to avoid correcting it.

I had an appointment and she kept me waiting for one 1 hr while she took care of people that had gotten there after me.

I would show Queenie the simple and minimalist nail art I desired and she would shoot me down with a “I can’t do that” whenever it was too busy or with a “$10 extra” for something as simple as a line on a nail.

I won’t be going back to this place because doing a mani/pedi should be therapeutic but this place makes it feel like a negative experience instead.

I’ve only mentioned a few things that make this place a horrible experience.
