Wow, what a gem! Im instantly in love with this place, for numerous reasons. If you're a desserts enthusiast like myself, it might be difficult to choose just one thing! Upon my first visit, I of course had to get the lokma Greek donoughts, & I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were made right in front of me! You don't get any fresher than that. Went with the pistachio topping and each little ball was the perfect 2 bite treat. (I think a large order of these would be great for a party). For a beverage, tried the house lemonade, which was made with mint. Im not a huge mint fan but however it was proportioned was perfect because it tasted like traditional lemonade, but with just a hint of something different. Refreshing! I wish I hadn't just eaten lunch because EVERYTHING looked so good.. Ive heard good things about the paninis, because the owner makes his own bread. Im semi-familiar with Greek food and the menu had a nice combination of dishes Im familiar & a fan of.. But also a good many dishes that I have not before tasted. I have spent time in Lebanon (a neighbor of Greece), and I can't put my finger on what it was, but just being inside this cafe reminded me of ones Ive visited abroad.

The very friendly owner happened to be taking our order, and besides being welcoming, he seemed to truly take pleasure in the preparation of his menu. His passion for serving the food he does, was obvious. It always makes me happy when I know Im supporting a local, small business.

Later this week, Ive already decided that Ill be ordering something savory from here for dinner, and having it delivered. White Plains is sadly lacking in establishments that serve Mediterranean cuisine. Im excited to journey through this cafes...

Update on the bottom: Wonderful , delicious, and a very pleasant experience at Loukamadnes’s.

A very nice family runs it with care and attention to the smallest details.

You can tell when a place is filled with love when you enter it. The owner is very passionate about his food offerings and is a wonderful host. If you get a chance, talk with him.

The Loukamades remind me of the ones my great grandmother used to make for me as a kid. I was unable to find anyone who could make them like that until now. Thank you for a trip down memory lane.

The lemonade is delicious as well.

I can’t wait to try their food offerings. The falafel and panini offerings are next !!

Also they have Italian gelato and they infuse it with a coffee. Sounds delicious.

Update : We went back for some unfinished business. We really needed to try the foods .

This time we brought some experts in Israeli foods. Because I ordered the falafel which comes with Hummus and I thought it was delicious but wanted my friends to tell me their thoughts. The verdict: definitely authentic Isrealli Hummus and definitely delicious. The falafel was amazing and they served it with an imported pickle that has such a different taste than anything around here. My friend said it was a trip down memory lane for her.

We also ordered a couple paninis (mozzarella hot and roast beef) Both of them were so good. The Greek salad was on point and the feta was sublime.

There are definitely a few more things we want to try and can’t wait to find time to go back!!

The owner likes to hear people’s opinions if they are from the lands in which his food offerings come from, so here it is.

Got the official Greek Stamp of a Approval And The official Israeli Stamp...

I went for the first time after driving by the past two weekend prior. Such a cute little shop and so many choices! The husband and wife are such an adorable couple that run the place and with their family! It reminds me of when my family had a store. Love it! Got a delicious frappe and fresh out the oven croissant. It’s currently 24 hrs later and I’m craving that croissant again. It was delicious!! And the frappe was perfect! Lukumades are their specialty but I never had one! They are these delicious little Greek donut balls. They gave me two to try with honey and cinnamon sugar. And holy ** I never had anything like it! Sweet but not too sweet. Nice crisp outside and chewy inside. There was a whole topping bar you can pick and chose from too! I then went back THE SAME DAY with my mother. Got a prosciutto panini for my father, my mom got a coffee, and we got a bomboloni with Bavarian cream to split. Again, everything delicious! You can taste the love made in everything! I plan to become a regular there!! Highly...

What a cute spot! Went with my mama and we split the Greek salad and hot mozzarella panini. The feta in the Greek salad was to die for, so flavorful and moist. Not like the typical dry American fetas. The owner told us he gets it from Israel. The hot mozzarella panini was a great bang for your buck, a huge sandwich and it comes with your choice of lemonade, soup, or chips. Then we also got something with bread stuffed with mashed potatoes which was yummy but a bit plain, felt like it needed some of that feta so I added some from the salad and wow did that take it up a notch. The lemonade was nothing crazy. We finished with the lukumadness pistachio heaven. VERY hot but soooo good!! Ask for a spoon to scoop the pistachio cream on the bottom to really get every drop! The service was impeccable, we were served by the owner. He opened to the door to greet us while we were parking and make every dish himself. He even took our items to the table for us instead of having us pick up from the service counter since the place was quiet.

Wow!!! Absolutely speechless. My wife and I decided to give this place a try after seeing the amazing reviews, and it truly did not disappoint. We came in for dessert, and every bite was unforgettable. The Lukumadness was out of this world, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the cheesecake, imported all the way from France, was absolutely divine. Beyond the incredible desserts, what really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both flavor and hospitality, and this place has it all. This is officially our new go-to spot for both food and dessert. If you’re looking for something delicious with service that makes you feel right at home, look no further—you won’t regret it!
