We booked Pavillion 3 for a BBQ picnic birthday party for a 1 year old. We lucked out with the weather and the party turned out fantastic. This pavillion is in a secluded area next to a baseball field, beach volleyball court, basketball court, and a playground. We brought a water table, a sensory bin, sports equipment, sidewalk chalk, water balloon kits, a big quilt for the little ones, and some baby toys. For food we grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers. We also had fruits, veggies, chips, cookies, cake, and some guests brought sides. The park allows beer and wine, no hard alcohol. We had about 40 guests which included children from 1 to 17, young adults to seniors. The place can accommodate over a hundred people. The only concern we had was that after you pay to book the spot there are no refunds even if there is bad weather.

The only picnic area I saw had to be reserved and have a permit to use it. The bathrooms were closed I guess they are only open in the summer. The kids area is very nice have many options to play and also have a swing area overall it’s a good park we enjoyed it. Btw no cellphone reception.

Invited by some food friends. Real nice layout is their area. Had enough seating and all good size grill for us to use. Not far from the restrooms. Also enough space for the Volleyball game. Have to live in. Westchester to reserve this park though.

Beautiful little park which is perfect for family fun, spring/summer outings, hiking, outdoor sorts, etc. Has a newer playground area for the younger children & the other public facilities are clean/well maintained. Just a short drive from White Plains, Hartsdale & Elmsford. Sometimes a bit busy on a nice day, but it's one of the better White Plains Metro Area parks & while I'm unsure of the specific pet policies, I've taken my friendly, Toy Fox Terrier (so a very happy, very small 🐕) on many nice hikes in this park. There's ample area for parking your car & lots of both open & wooded places to enjoy the outdoors in. Overall very nice park to get away to on a weekend to have a family picnic, take a hike or just relax at while not being too far away from the civilised world- the proximity to the surrounding towns listed above is an especially good thing if you've got young kids with you or if the weather takes an unexpected turn for the worst....

I only visited one Pavillion #2 of the park, and I didn't do much outside of the immediate area, so I can only give limited information. I was there for a party. I traveled from Manhattan and it was easy to find. There's a big parking area and, a children's play structure (fyi, it's on sand). There are clean, well maintained bathrooms and I think I saw 4 grills. There is an ample amount of picnic tables with benches, some under the covered structure and some on the grass. Maybe, it's the time of year (October), but I didn't get any bug bites. Except for our party, there weren't many...
