there is a delightful carousel at the northern tip of the park... hours are limited there are two picnic areas, one by the northern entrance and one south of the park drive... I think the southern is more pleasant and scenic but the north is near the playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts there are bridle paths, exercise trails, and a bike path, which are all in poor condition there is a dog run and improved fishing pond that are very popular the dam that made the lake is pretty and historic water craft permits are available for the season and almost no one takes advantage of it update Sep 20, 2019...
