The whole park is undergoing a facelift. The army corps of engineers are cutting trees and landscaping the perimeter around each lake. Plan to take the little guys and gals in your family for some good fresh water fishing. Plenty of BBQ grills, but bear in mind that the park fills up on weekends. Hint... If you park across from Pennisula Blvd. in Rockville Centre, you can cross the pedestrian bridge into the park on foot and avoid the fee. There is an equestrian center on Eagle Avenue, where you can rent a horse to ride the trails through the park. Lastly, there is an old fashion merry-go-round in the Park, but it is currently closed due to pandemic. Check with the park...
