North Lake Picnic Area — Attraction in Town of Hunter

There's a $10 fee to enter Catskill park. I parked by the North lake and the parking lot is pretty big. When you stand by the bathrooms There's even some cell phone reception (I have Verizon). But there are many other parking areas so please make an effort to remember where you parked. I met a young couple on the trail and they had no idea where they had left their car. This time of year (writing this mid April 2021) some of the parking lots and roads are closed so if you're planning on going to park near North Lake you can't do that right now. However the roads are pleasant enough to walk on, the woods nearby are beautiful; after some rain there are waterfalls everywhere and of course the view down toward the Hudson and the valley is beautiful.
